What does the plan cost?
The Essential Plan is $199 + HST per year and the Plus Plan is $299 + HST per year. Both plans include one annual air conditioner maintenance service and a reduced $49 + HST service call and diagnostic.
Does it cover parts?
Yes. The Essential Plan provides up to $1,000 in annual parts coverage with 50% labour coverage. The Plus Plan provides up to $1,500 in annual parts coverage with 100% labour coverage. Compressor replacement and refrigerant leak repair are not covered.
How old can my air conditioner be to qualify?
Central air conditioners up to 18 years old may qualify, subject to initial inspection and approval.
What is the difference between the Essential and Plus plans?
The Essential Plan provides up to $1,000 in annual parts coverage and 50% labour coverage. The Plus Plan provides up to $1,500 in annual parts coverage and 100% labour coverage.
Can I cover the furnace too?
Yes, and it usually works out cheaper than two separate plans. Ask about a combined plan.
What if I already had a tune-up this year?
Tell us when it was done and we will start the plan from the right point rather than charging you for a visit you have already had.
Is an initial inspection required?
Yes. The AC must be professionally inspected and approved by Zenith Eco Energy before coverage begins. Proper operating conditions are required to complete the initial AC assessment.
How much is a diagnostic service call?
Protection Plan members pay $49 + HST per AC service call and diagnostic visit.
